Getting Started with Connecting Your Scanner to Bluetooth:
If your scanner is connected via Bluetooth but won’t scan, you can try the following steps on your iPad:
Go to Settings → Bluetooth on your iPad and find the scanner (it will be named something like DS2278 followed by a series of numbers). On the right-hand side, tap the blue “i” icon and then select “Forget This Device.”
Then follow these steps:
1. Scan the HID Bluetooth Classic barcode
2. Go to Settings → Bluetooth on your iPad
3. Wait for the wireless scanner to appear under Settings → Bluetooth → Other Devices, and then select it
4. The wireless scanner should now connect (pair) successfully
Extra Note
There is an option to enable Apple iOS Virtual Keyboard Toggle.
This feature works with Apple iOS devices and allows you to open and close the virtual iOS keyboard by double-tapping the scanner's trigger.
When this function is enabled, the digital scanner may be incompatible with non-Apple iOS devices.
