When you want to transfer an invoice or a daily report directly to e-conomic from POS, some errors might pop up. These errors usually come from a setting in e-conomic or on our end that needs fixing.
Below you'll find a walk-through of the error messages you might get.
Product barred
One or more of the products you've added to an e-conomic invoice are blocked in your e-conomic and can't be used.
Go through your product lines and double-check your product numbers in e-conomic to find the blocked items.
The customer you’re trying to add to an e-conomic invoice is blocked in e-conomic and can’t be used for invoices.
Check the customer in your e-conomic and see if there's a reason you blocked them.
The accounting year you're trying to post to doesn't exist in e-conomic.
Check in your e-conomic if you've created the current accounting year. This usually happens around year-end when people forget to set up next year's accounting year.
One or more of the product numbers you're trying to put on an e-conomic invoice aren't valid for use in e-conomic.
This usually happens if a product's product number contains special characters or ÆØÅ, which aren't allowed as valid product numbers in e-conomic. Go through your product numbers and fix them.
This error usually happens if you have more than one product number that's the same in e-conomic or if a current product is using a previously created product that wasn’t deleted properly.
Check in our system and in e-conomic that there aren’t multiple products with the same product number. If you can’t find the issue, get in touch with our support so they can look into the product database.
The maximum limit for how many individual product items can be added to an e-conomic invoice has been reached.
Go through your invoice and remove some product lines. If your invoice is too big for e-conomic to handle, you can split it up into several smaller invoices to get them transferred.
There could be several reasons why this error happens, for example if you have too many items on your invoice that contain too much information.
In most cases, you'll need to contact our support if this error pops up so they can find the problem for you.
