When you or we import files into Customers 1st, there are a few requirements that need to be met before it can work. This guide won’t go in depth about how you do it, but if you're interested in that, check out here.
We can import the following files into the system:
Products
Customers
Gift cards
Customer-products (products attached to the customer)
We can't import customer, sales, or case history.
We import files based on rows and columns in Excel (CSV file). That means column A for example is chosen as the product's SKU/item number, etc. See example:
We import the data we get and can't account for what's missing from the file.
NOTE: Customers 1st doesn't have variant management. All products come in a flat structure. However, it's possible to put products in a "family" and link them together without a main product. Read more about it here.
