Split registers is a paid add-on that lets you have multiple physical registers under the same store. You can link specific payment types to each register so that only that particular register can use those payment types.
You also get the option to create a daily report per register, which makes counting cash easier, because you only need to consider what's in that specific register. This way, you can also see stats on how much each register is selling for.
For example, if you're heading out to a trade fair, it can be a really smart way to handle sales by getting an extra register, so sales stay separated and daily reports can be done independently.
By default, each store has one physical register, which can be used on as many devices as you want. If you want more, you can buy them for 300 DKK per month each.
To add an extra register, you need to contact our support with your customer number.
When you set up an extra register in your store, you need to go to each device and choose which register it should be linked to before you can start selling.
This is done under Settings -> POS -> Cash register for device
When you've got multiple registers, you can decide which payment types show up on each one, so for example, only the card terminals that matter for that specific register are shown, instead of seeing all terminals.
You can also connect one Mobilepay Beacon to each of your registers, so they can be used independently.
Under Settings -> POS -> Payment types
You can add and edit extra payment types, which also gives you the option to pick if that payment type should be usable on your different virtual registers.
