When you receive your new Lane3000 wired payment terminal from either Nets or Worldline, it must be connected to your wired network to ensure it has internet access.
The process is described below:
When you receive the terminal, it comes with the necessary cables required for setup. Only one cable runs from the terminal, which provides both power and internet.
This cable connects to a splitter, which should be connected directly to your router/modem or to a network switch. In addition, a 12V external power adapter must be connected to the splitter and plugged into a power socket.
Connect the main cable directly to the underside of the terminal. Gently push the plug in until it clicks into place.
The other end of the cable has a network plug (Ethernet), which should be connected to your router/modem, or to a switch that is connected to your router/modem.
Insert the supplied 12V power adapter into the splitter – there is a round DC input socket next to the network cable output on the splitter.
Once all cables are connected (including the internet cable), plug the power adapter into a power outlet. The terminal will now power on and begin starting up.
