To use our quick-print program called Printdesk, the following requirements must be met:
Computer Requirements:
General requirements in order for Printdesk to run:
A 64-bit operating system
Minimum 4GB RAM (8GB strongly recommended)
Windows 10 Home or newer, or Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) or newer.
Internet connection with at least 25/15 Mbps.
Note: That any windows version based on Windows XP, Vista 7, 8 and 8.1 is no longer supported.
Receipt Printer Requirements:
Must connect to the device via USB or Network (LAN port)
If a cash drawer is to be used, it must have an RJ11/12 port.
Use 72/80mm receipt paper.
Recommended brands: Star, Epson, Citizen, Brother.
Label Printer Requirements:
Must connect to the device via USB or Network (LAN port)
Must print thermally (using heat)
Recommended brands: Zebra, Brother, Citizen.
Barcode Scanner Requirements:
Must function as direct scanners (Human Input Device)
Can be wired or wireless.
Must connect via USB.
Recommended brands: Zebra, Metapace, Datalogic, etc.
Cash Drawer Requirements:
Must connect to your receipt printer via an RJ12 cable.
Internet Connection Requirements:
Recommended 30/30 Mbps, minimum 25/10 Mbps.
A stable connection (less than 50 ms average ping).
Wired internet for desktop computers and terminals.
Higher speeds needed for more than 3-4 devices running simultaneously.
Recommended: Internet via Coax or Fiber.
ADSL or mobile broadband solutions are not recommended due to fluctuating speed and delays.
iOS Device Requirements (Apple iPad/iPhone):
Must be on iOS/iPad OS 17 for guaranteed support.
Older models with older versions of iOS/iPad OS may not be supported due to outdated browser security.
Devices that can log in to https://c1st.com/login will likely work.
