Due to new consumer regulations, customers generally have the right to receive a refund for an unused or partially redeemed gift card or voucher.
Therefore, we have made it super easy to refund a gift card/voucher regardless of whether part of it has been used or not.
Procedure:
Navigate to the Customer Module.
Click on the Gift Cards etc tab.
Search for the gift card's barcode (enter manually or scan).
When the gift card, voucher, or deposit appears, you can click on the Arrow to the right of the line to Refund.
You will then be sent to the checkout with the remaining value, which can be refunded. Then, simply choose the payment type for the refund.
The refund of gift cards/vouchers is handled in the same way whether they are unused or partially redeemed.
It is also possible to refund an expired gift card if the store wishes to do so.
